In many ways, New York is a city for the fabulously wealthy.  And while I may be fabulous, I am not wealthy.  But I do love this city, so I've spent some time trying to root out the best bargains among the endless options for food, entertainment and cultural enrichment.  I've found that there are plenty of ways to keep busy and have interesting experiences-- all for less than ten big ones.  So, if you are like me and are out to explore all that this city has to offer without spending too much, check back regularly for ideas and tips for having inexpensive and unique adventures in NYC.  For the most part, posts will be for activities or eats that are always available,  but I will shake things up every now and then to post those incredible free and cheap one-time events that come up.  So get out there and explore!
